Charged me 2073$ for my cat that was there for about maximum 8 hours in intensive care and in the end I had to put her down. Before leaving after her admission had to give a 800$ deposit for an estimate off 1700$ to 1900$ before tax for her hospitalization till Monday and this was around 4am Saturday morning. First vet called me around 6am and told me she has good chances of getting better and blood tests showed her organs were normal except for something with her red and white blood cells and asked to pass more tests. 4 hours later another vet called me telling me my cat was extremely critical and didn't have much time left. I rushed over to be there when they put her down and found out she had a lung infection with liquid around her lungs with pus. Why so many test when they probably knew right away after listening to her lungs! Couldn't even get her a private cremation cause it would of been another 400$ plus tax ontop of the vet bill. So much money for nothing in return

Je suis un très bon vendeur, je sais ce que je vaux, et si les clients viennent me voir, c’est parce que ils ne savent pas se passer de moi. j’utilise toujours un ton ferme et assuré et je parle d’une voie forte et convaincante. De plus, je suis complètement dépourvue de la passion, la seul chose qui me motive c’est l’argent.
-Très bien, vous avez les grandes dispositions, je crois je vais vous embaucher. De toutes les façons, dans notre domaine même le vendeur le plus médiocre peut faire une bonne affaire, car on utilise les armes les plus puissantes au monde : l’amour et la peur.

To all pet lovers: they only know how to exaggerate billings and rob you blind. Their inability to "talk at your level", their excessive use of "shop talk" where perhaps only another vet may understand, means you have no control with decisions to be taken. You feel like a hostage while trying to save your pet. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. It’s illegal. J’espère que les gens auront de plus en plus de conscience de leur abus et ils vont les poursuivre en justice, afin que le système change enfin. Il faut faire qqchose pour arrêter ces crosseurs.

For all of those complaining about the price, get with the program, owning an animal is super expensive, it comes with the territory. In regards to the service, normally I am beyond satisfied with the surgical team for my dog. I have been there several times for my pup's femur fracture and triple pelvic osteotomy and the service was AMAZING! However I returned recently to see the oncologist for my cat and the service is a far cry from what I am use to. I live 10 hours from this clinic so needless to say it takes a dedicated owner! However, he recommended several tests and upon returning a couple of hours afterwards he did not even come to see me, instead he sent his resident. I thought the service lacked humanity, I expected so much more.

Would not recommend. Far too expensive ($180 to have a cat euthanized). Not punctual- made us wait well over an hour in the exam room to get our 17 year old cat euthanized. Losing a pet is not a good experience to begin with, but the service made it 10x worse.

NEVER again. My dog had a medical emergency so I went here. I felt the whole time like everything was about payment. The prices were so excessively high.. My dog had a simple gasto. They proposed me to do X-ray and very expensive blood test, though it was no necessary at all. They just tortured my dog for nothing. And they didn’t propose me any alternatives: Plan A or plan B. I felt like if I don’t accept their plan A the most expensive, that it will not be good for me. The stupid Dr should t have jus given me the antibiotics without any tests, that are dangerous for the health of my dog and are very expensive also and not necessary at all. I dropped 1300$ just for a simple gasto. I don’t think that the vet was so stupid being not able to put the tight diagnosis without any tests, because it was SO obvious. she just wanted to get more money.

Incompassionate when it comes to dealing with my ailing pet, the only goal of the vet was to dig for inexistent ailments in order to sell you treatments. These charlatans' prey on concerned pet owners to extract as much money as they can while they still can. If you want someone to put your pets well being as their priority, don't bother with this place.

I would not recommend this place. I went there to treat my dog for a gastro. They did an X-ray and they said they were pretty sure she ate an object that needed to be removed by surgery. I said I doubted it and ask for alternatives. They said the only one was the surgery. They never bother to show me the X-ray and explain me why a drastic solution. At the end, no object was found, it was only a gastro. They never took responsibility of their mistake. I reported them to the Syndic and they are under investigation. There were cheaper alternatives that they did not even consider. If you have a lot of money to waste, this is the place to go.

I will avoid this place. I just dropped 7,200 and 5 days after I left needed to have my cat's feeding tube inspected b/c it looked loose. They told me "if you have any questions about this or a repair is needed, you will have to pay another $135 office visit plus the cost of the repair." My cat was in the hospital 5 days, had one surgery to take two biopsies and remove a kidney. The vet reached for the most serious thing every time. For intance, when they heard a few irregular heart beats before the surgery, they suggested I have him checked for heart disease b/cthen he would need an anasthesiologist. Yes, I took him for this test at St-Hyacinthe the morning before his surgery and his heart is in great shape. I think they are money-grubbers. Every time they updated me on my cat's status, they reminded me where my balance was. The day I was to take him home, they said we have a new development (a fever) and we want to do another ultrasound and possibly aspirate if infection. There was

The vet did not seem to sympathize with the dire diagnosis,did surgery for the $ and they did not preserve his sperm for reproduction as discussed. The wait was endless and the costs mind-boggling. Never, ever, ever again. Will go to emergency in Lachine instead

The prices were so excessively high, that they were charging 6 times, yes 6 times more expensive than another vet. And it doesn't take long for someone to pop right around the corner with papers to sign your soul over to the bank and get a loan. Once they gave me an estimate of 3000-4000 dollars, I took my dog to another vet and paid 450 for the same operation. This place is great if you can't wait and have a medical emergency, but if you have time to make am appointment, I wouldn't think twice about going elsewhere. Staff is great and polite, but very hard to look past the high prices. Hopefully I will never have to go back there again.

I have had no business dealings with this clinic. Had no valid client patient relationship with this clinic, was third party billed for services neither agreed upon nor requested. Then when I refused to pay was sent to collections. Un ethical business practices...the gall is I live thousands of Km's from Montreal and have never set foot into their clinic

First visit middle of the night over 600$ after X-rays given hairball meds, next day went to my vet new X-rays cat had swallowed plastic toy head she needed surgery ASAP. Thank you Dr.Salhi! Second visit again middle of the night my cat (same cat poor Sushi) paw started bleeding 5 days after declawing. HVRS bill: 125$ to have the vet just walk in the same room as my cat, 75$ for over priced BUT here's the cherry on top, the Vet said 1 had completely opened where she could see bone & 3 others looked like they could unglue, she said we can fix it and we do suggest home care of hydrotherapy 3x for 10mins each day (running water) which they already started doing 62$. BUT thee turned around & said we refuse to apply glue you just paid 62$ for 10mins of water and the shaving of paw hair & was extremely rude when I said I will see my vet in the morning to have the wound closed properly & put down my reg Vet, who remember saved my cat a problem they missed & said was just a fur all. Le 27 décembre dernier à 15 hrs. pm, j'y amène ma petite mini-schnauzer qui était malade. Elle y passe la nuit et on lui a fait des examens. Le lendemain matin à 10 hrs. am, on me téléphone pour me donner un premier diagnostic et je décide alors de la soulager car la maladie était grave et probablement sans issue; je leur dit de procéder à l'euthanasie. Elle aura été 19 heures à l'hôpital et la facture s'éleva à $2014,61. Oui, $2014,61! Franchement exagéré. Jamais plus je n'y retournerai.

You better have a Lot of $$$ to go there or an empty credit card. I had my dog go there for skin problems. After one year of treatments and over $2,000. my dog still had skin problems. After all this time, related or not to the skin medication, he developped kidney stones. I was given an aproximate amount of an other "2,000 plus. I had to have him put down. And the vet (a female) who did this, did not do well, my dog screamed. NOT WORTH IT. Yeah its a nice clinic, but that does not help your animal.

Not a good experience at all. They told me that it wasn't worth it to have a consultation with the cardiac specialist if I did not agree to a complete exam first - that is BEFORE I even spoke to him and/or he reviewed the documents and other info provided by another specialist in cardio-echography. Worse yet, they expect you to sign off on sedation of the animal 'just in case' they have difficulty handling your pet. In ten years of cardio problems and echos, I have NEVER encountered a single vet-specialist who recommended sedation for this type of exam. In fact, I have been told that it should NOT be used, except in rare, extreme incidences where the animal is otherwise unmanageable. Most animals, even ones that resist (as one of mine does) can be handled without sedation if the techs and the vet know how to deal with a reluctant animal. In addition, a cardiac echo performed on a sedated animal CANNOT be compared to previous echos that were performed without sedation - so beware

Very bad experience. The first time I weny my dog had a ruptured disc, they made me wait 30 min. while my dog was in shock, then they told me I would have to go to the vet hospiatal in st. hyacinthe or the dmv in montreal because they could not help me but they charged double their fees because it was sunday evening and they did nothing. Then when my dog was sick last month they kept him overnight and charged me $2000.00 just to tell me he had to be put down but they could never tell me what was wrong. I think with a bill of this amount I should have been entitled to an answer as to what the problem was with my dog. I will never go back and I wouldn't recommend this vet to anyone.

They are expensive by OMG well worth it. THey have an incredible staff of knowledgeable veterinarians. As a breeder I can attest to the fact that every time I needed emergency and regular vet visits, they were there for me. Dr. Sebastian Kfoury is a young genious who knows his vet medicine and is ethical and works with the client. I am extremely sattisfied with this clinic, the staff, secretaries, veterinarians and am willing to pay their fees in order to get prompt vet care and state of the art service. Dr. Kfoury is my vet and I will not change him ever. He is number 1 in my books. I have been with this clinic now for the past 10 years.

Trés cher!! Chaque fois que j'y vais, en moyenne je dois payer 200$+. Le Dr.Kfoury est un des meilleurs vet je le recommande à tout le monde! Mais desfois, il faut attendre longtemppps avant qu'il vient dans la salle pour vous voir.

Depuis 20 ans je fais affaire avec la clinique du Dr. Gosselin. Ils ne sont pas les moins chers bien sûr mais DMV est encore plus cher! Les vétérinaires sont très compétents et ils ont tous les spécialistes dans tous les domaines sur place. Donc, en cas de maladie ou d'accident grave je suis certaine que mon animal sera gardé et traité sur place et non pas envoyé ailleurs. Ils possèdent tous les équipements à la fine pointe de la technologie: ne pas oublier, ce n'est pas une clinique vétérinaire mais bien un HÔPITAL VÉTÉRINAIRE. Ils expliquent bien les gestes et traitement qu'ils vont poser sur notre animal et répondent à TOUTES nos questions et inquiétudes toujours avec patience et gentillesse. Font des estimés avant d'effectuer les examens et traitements, on peut discuter de cet estimé avec eux et choisir ce qui doit être effectué en urgence et ce qui peut attendre, donc avons le contrôle jusqu'à un certain point sur le total de la facture. Whent i went to pic her up they dind tell me nothing i go home and i feel something that was not there before. i dint not think there was something rong or they would have say somting wan i was there. But when i went back to get the sthitch remove i alsone notice a small hol so i aske about boat the hole and the small ball lokink thing ander the sticht the dec say it nothing to wait a week then iff there not change to come back for free. So a today a call and now they wante me to pay for to csee the vet. Now i anderstand they make a mistake just to charge you more dond go there if they mess up youll pay for it not them.

VERY EXPENSIVE!! Cannot stress that enough. They are more than triple (almost four times more) than my regular vet. Went to them on a Sunday when my vet was closed. The technicians are fabulous, very caring. The vet I dealt with was quite cold and condescending. I was made to feel like a bad pet owner because I didn't want to follow their "Plan A" and pay top dollar for unnecessary tests. They are also somewhat aggressive in in the sales push - adding things to your bill before you have even decided if you were buying it - very pushy. They were consciencious in calling me to let me know what was going on and I felt good to know that my pet had 24 hour care. The facilities are beautiful but, that's where most of your money probably goes. I much prefer my regular vet - no fancy gimmicks...

what a loosing proposition,that place was not answering the phone when they promote that they are open 24 hres.we drop in any way and find no qualified staff ,their proposition stabilise my dog and will let you know tomorrow and all of this at a cost that makes no sense

I go to this clinic for emergencies only when my regular vet is unavailable. Very satisfied. You get the big picture (tests that could be done, the breakdown of costs). It is up to you to get them done or not. My last visit was in August 2009, the blood tests could have been much higher if whole panel was done ($180). I decided to do the basic one ($35)and go from there with a Plan B which they said was logical & acceptable. They do give you all the options. You have the last word and I was never put in a "you're a bad owner if you do not do as told". I was able to wait until Monday for my regular vet to save on costs. Gave treatment to help the dog get to our regular vet if injections and pills given did not help the dog. I've always been satisfied 100\% with them, even if more expensive. But a nice building, lots of staff and high-end equipment has a price. My last visit was still over $400. My reg vet would have been approx. $100 for same visit. But it was an emergency visit = $$

Je fais affaire depuis des années avec mon vétérinaire régulier, et pour une urgence, celui-ci étant fermé, je me suis rendu à Rive-Sud. $$$ et ils ont essayé de me garder comme client en m'envoyant un rappel de vaccin alors que je ne les ai jamais fait là!!!

Expensive but worth it. I know my dogs will be taken care of. The staff is very friendly and polite. Appointments are easy to get and they have the beautiful pet store. They sell beautiful accessories, amazing coats, leashes, etc..I have met many vets at this place and there was only one I didn't trust

They are a bit expensive but the service is fantastic and the facilities are great. Friendly staff and you generally don't wait too long to be seen. Easy to get an appointment.

They have wonderful experts that perform surgeries that a lot of other places do not. I would not recommend them for everyday services as there is not a "personal touch" that you would find at a smaller clinic.
