Click to report rating    1/7/23   1     4     3     2   Ok if you have time for an appointment, failed my elderly cat terribly. Thought we had a vet that would come assist her at home in the end after years of being a patient, not to be. Cat in distress and they wouldn’t come for a week. Thank God for Pets on Wheels that rushed to assist RID: 70545
Click to report rating    8/13/11   1     1     1     1   Just about the worst place I have ever had experience with. I would never trust Dr. Jaffey with any animal of mine. I had a dog boarding there and "thought" the dog was at the hospital but found out it was at someone else's house without my consent. The place is filthy and the receptionists are rude.Very bad experience with this vet. RID: 26917
Click to report rating    10/25/10   1     1     1     1   The reception area is dirty and smelly. The vet has limited experience and is only good at giving vaccine to dogs or cats. RID: 20492

Click to report rating    3/8/10   5     5     5     5   I have been going to MAH for years, and Dr Jaffe and his staff couldn't be more loving and caring toward my pets.. when my one cat was very ill, they were great at explaining what was going on and whether it was worth putting her through more tests..they never said stop helping her but they did help me to realize just how much more could she go through and what value to her life would that add. Unfortunitally I ended up putting her down. Then I wanted a new kitten, I had a 10 year old cat at home.. they couldn't have been more helpful in helping me to pick just the right new little buddy for my 10 year old.. I've been very, very happy with MAH and would highly recommed them to anyone who was in need of a knowledgeable and caring Vet. two thumbs up for Dr Jaffe and Staff. RID: 16940
Click to report rating    11/9/09   5     4     4     5   Dr. Jaffe has been treating my pets for nearly 10 years. He (and Dr. Parrish) recently saved one of my dog's lives as well as the lives of her 9 puppies after another vet was negligent in her care and missed a life-threatening infection she had developed in a wound. He has fully accommodated us at all times, and has always been there to answer my questions. The staff knows me by name, they know all my pets, and have always suggested what would be best for them...I know they have my pets' best interest in mind, and I never question what they suggest. I currently live an hour away from MAH, but still continue to go there! RID: 15270
Click to report rating    4/8/08   1     2     2     1   My advice is look elsewhere. I have been taking my dog to Montgomery Animal Hospital for nearly two years now. The two veterinarians, Parish and Jaffe, are friendly enough and reasonably pleasant, but in most other categories I would rate them no better than average. Generally, the fees charged are excessive compared to other providers in the area and the interaction with the vet is brief – they probably spend more time preparing the bill then examining your pet. My biggest apprehension arose from a very simple and telling situation(explained elsewhere)which made me believe that their primary motivation is making money – with the customer a very distant second. Why is this so very - very important? Simply put, someone’s advice should be based upon what’s best for my pet, not what’s going to put the most dollars in their pocket. When it comes to a big decision – are they going to advise a lot of painful procedures simply because it’s more profitable? Not a risk worth taking! RID: 7976
