Run!! Do not reconsider. I rushed my dog to Animal Emergency at 7313 Lake Underhill Rd in the middle of the night. He was dying. I was scared. Instead of compassion, I got a $1,065 bill for only bloodwork and vague guesses about a tumor. No treatment (thank God), no clear answers, and no kindness. It felt predatory, Dr. Holly Brown. Two staff members delivered the price like they knew it would be upsetting. I later went to another emergency clinic in Casselberry where I got a full exam, an ultrasound, real answers—and compassion—for under $300. That vet confirmed my dog had a bleeding tumor on his liver and was dying. I will never forget how I felt at this first clinic. Be careful. You deserve better when your pet is in crisis. I would recommend Veterinary Emergency Clinic of Central Florida. 3352 S US Hwy 17 92 Casselberry. Dr. German was welcoming, compassionate and not about extorting money in your time of pain.

Beware of this clinic. My dog was over-treated by Dr. Holly Brown-Tabbenor in August 2009. The dog was taken in by a friend of our daughter with whom the dog is living. Although the injury was minor and was not even bleeding, Dr. Brown-Tabbenor felt it necessary to keep her for hours and administer drug after drug. The bill came to nearly $900!! Dr. Brown-Tabbenor has not seen fit to respond to a letter I sent her nearly a month ago.

The staff made me feel at ease when my dog had an emergency. The doctor and technicians were compassionate and caring. I was able to call anytime during her stay to check on her progress. She did great and they faxed my vet all the information for her permanent record. I got a full report of everything that had happened in the hospital also. They say they have been open less than a year but their magnet is staying on my fridge if I ever need them again!
