Click to report rating    9/27/14   3     2     3     2   I took my small dog to the clinic because he was sick. He did an X-ray to see if he had anything in his stomach he had a little bit of dog food in his stomach. But the only thing Dr Cox was concern about was money not my dog he said he needed to inflate my dog stomach to see the X-ray more clearly.so he sedated him to stuck the tube in his stomach .i had told several times that my dog had severe asthma . Well when they were done my dog became unresponsive and had passed away. The vet came out and says well your dog died in a rude and uncaring manner.then he starts saying its our fault for not yelling him about our dogs bad lungs. If anyone wants their pet to have inadequate medical and be insulted then see this veterinarian RID: 53769
Click to report rating    2/7/07   4     4     3     2   Dr. Cox has a HORRIBLE bedside manor and the only reason he is in this field of work is the money. He does do house calls but charges more than should be charged for this. He doesn't always know what he is doing. He told my mom her dog was NOT pregnant and she ended up having 7 puppies the next week. My dog came down with distemper due to him saying she did not need a booster shot at 1 year, then said she didn't have distemper and treated her for a stomach virus. When he did put her to sleep, we had an appointment but ended up waiting in our car for over an hour. He then put her to sleep and picked her up by her collar to place her in the trash bag so we could take her home, right in front of me and my husband. He does do payment plans for some people. Weekends and evenings, all the vets in our area have an on call emergancy vet in Rowlett instead of being on call themselves. The ONLY reason I have used him over and over is because they will do a payment plan. RID: 2715
