Our Cocker Spaniel needed surgery for removal of a tumor. Dr. Grinsell was forthcoming in his diagnosis, patiently explained everything about the procedure and answered all our questions. Our dog was released the following day and had a check-up a week later. So happy with the doctor and the whole staff.

After being required to board our cat for what seemed an inordinate amount of time for the procedure he was undergoing (based on what our vet-tech friend later told us), we picked him up after a week only to find him sick with a respiratory illness and noticeably thinner than he had been. We did notice during both our visits that the clinic was very cold and drafty but assumed that measures would be taken to prevent the animals from getting cold and sick. When we mentioned to the staff how concerned we were about how our cat had been treated, they were extremely rude and aggressive towards us. If you value the health and safety of your pet, please do not take them to the Truckee Meadows Veterinary Hospital.
