The staff here are great and the hours are amazing, but they really push everything they can on you so that you wind up with a huge bill at the end of it. I stopped going back after my healthy, middle-aged cat's yearly exam ran up a $400 bill...Like any pet owner, I am willing to pay the high costs when my pet needs it. I'm eager to take my pet in for check ups and I do put my trust in the professionals to know best. But you will lose my trust, even if you're a good vet, when you prey on my love for my pet to line your pocket by constantly encouraging unnecessary procedures. If you can go to another vet, I would recommend that. There are many clinics in the area that are just as good, who even though you may pay "Toronto" prices, will be assessing and charging you fairly.

My pets were under care of the vets at bloor animal hospital for the lat 7 years even their sevice fees are expensive, I just want my pets get good care. Two incidents make me very upset with this animal hospital recently. First incident was they told me my yorkie had bladder stones and they had to perform a surgery on him the next day, they did some pre-op check up procedure which cost about 700 dollars ontop of the surgery. Turn around they called me they think it will be something in bowel instead the stones in the bladder, they had to do another x-ray to rule out. My dog made the poo before the x-ray and the shadows were gone. I paid a fortune for their misdiagnosis. I did not complaint at all. The second incident was the vet, Dr. Morris gave Traumadol for my yorkie's athritis on JUNE 17 2015, the label instruction was to give every 8 to 12 when needed. I just found out in the med is already expired in Sept 11 2015, that means the vet gave me the med close to the expiry dat

BUYER BEWARE! These people performed tests that I didn't authorize on my healthy pet, and what should have been a simple visit turned into a costly nightmare. Simply put, they are money grubbers who pressure you into buying their products which are overpriced and not necessary, as they try to suggest. They are dreadful and prey on the anxiety of pet owners. I am a senior and advise other seniors to steer clear of this bunch.

All vet clinics are NOT created equal. If you are looking for the cheapest clinic, or someplace to just get your pets "shots" then I would not recommend this clinic. If you want a clean facility, with friendly staff and veterinarians who go above and beyond for you and your pets, then I highly recommend Bloor Animal Hospital. Unlike one snarky reviewer, I never feel pressured to spend money, they always explain why they want to do a certain test and they always come up with alternate plans that are within my budget, without making me feel like a terrible pet owner. I cannot recommend them enough!

I have used this vet several times due to the extended hours they offer. I have not made the following assessment lightly, but after much consideration: 1. This clinic is very good at playing on my love and anxiety for my pets in the moment, by suggesting many over priced tests, in hindsight, I believe are unnecessary (and which have all come back negative. Ultimately, I think their true accomplishment is in taking advantage of the pet owners vulnerabilities. 2. I must say however, they are skilled and have very good facilities -- but I can get skilled care and good facilities (without being over billed for extraneous services) from other vets in the Toronto. 3. Lastly, the legitimate services they provide are also overpriced.

Fantastic clinic! The doctors and nurses are great and helped us with a problem that our old clinic was only making worse. Well worth the money. My only complaint was the reception staff. Don't be too put off by them. They can be grumpy and made a horrible first impression.

The staff and Doctors are amazing. When my pets are in their care I am completely confident. Their love and compassion shows at every vists. They are more expensive, but worth every penny because of the quality of care they offer and they are open 7 days a week.

Overall this is a fantastic clinic. I thought they were a bit overpriced initially but after checking out other local clinics I found that they definitely offered the most service for my money here. Other clinics in the area priced our puppy's spay surgery about the same or even more but BAH offered more "bang for my buck" in terms of treatment and hospitalization time. The staff is very friendly, attentive and helpful. I think our dog Lola may even enjoy going for her "visits"!
