I've been bringing my cats to Delmar Animal Hospital for many (about 30?) years and have gotten nothing but compassionate, competent care for them at each visit (especially at end-of-life as someone else said.) In reading the previous reviewers comments about pet meds, I think they are just trying to help us out! Their pricing on meds is very competitive with online sources, and I'm always happy to support local businesses by shopping locally rather than online-especially when I'm getting such great care from the vets. We should all think small in this regard--it's the least we can do! Support local business! It may only cost you a dollar or two more and the money you spend goes right back into your community. My kitties and I will be happily making more yearly visits to Delmar Animal Hospital!

Used them for Euthanizing old dogs (2); VERY emotionally supportive & empathetic to situation. Crematory on premises, ashes returned in nice box with dog's name, dates, footprint.

The general service here is ok but they are horrible about prescriptions. They make it as inconvenient as possible to order medications like heartguard from anyone but them. They refuse to confirm heartguard prescriptions over the phone or via fax with 1800 petmeds. Instead they insist on mailing you the written prescription which you then have to mail to 1800 petmeds before your order can be filled. They are just making it as inconvenient as possible because they want you to buy meds directly from them. I will be switching vets immediately because of this.
