Last week one of my dogs past away. She was a foster dog that myself and my husband took on to keep her out of a shelter. We took her on with intentions of giving her a great last few years (she was 11 at the time) we assured ourselves we would not grow attached but she quickly won our heats She past at age 14. We brought her for cremation to Dr. Kramer and trusted him with her remains. We found out one week later from the crematory that they just picked her up! She was left alone in a freezer for a week. After discussing this with Dr. Kramer he stated the dog was not alive and since he could not help her he had no "ethical" obligation to let us know she was still there after several days. He stated he did not feel there was anything wrong with this and could not understand why we were upset that our baby girl was left in a freezer for a week! I am disgusted and will not return to this office in the future. Take your dog there when alive but when you lose them, go elsewhere.
