Click to report rating    3/24/18   2     2     2     1   Our dog had dental issues. They looked closely at the dogs teeth and gave an estimate of $2k-$2700. Then called and said that the dog was under anesthesia and now they want over $5k. Knowing that it’s not good for the animal to be multiply sedated, and he’s older making it even more dangerous, they put us into a position that the best thing to do for Cuyler was to approve their doubling of the bill. When I picked up the dog I asked how we could brush the teeth of our problem rescue as so not to have this issue with him... Dr Davis told me that this was another dog and I’d have to pay for another consultation. We’ve showed the bill to other vets and all said they knew him and would NEVER recommend him. Each told stories of clients that felt ripped off by his billing practices... the other vets said my bill was 50% to 100% higher than they would have charged. We feel extremely abused by this practice. Then he charged $450/hour (x 3.5 hours) for what I believe was a tech that he pays $25/ RID: 65819
