Click to report rating    7/30/11   1     1     2     1   Took injured cat-very short and rude.Talked for maybe 10 minutes. He said cat had broken tail and would x-ray it and call us later. He called later and said cat had fractured spine. He said to come back in the morning and he would discuss the x-rays and etc. Went back in the morning and he showed us the x-rays. I started to ask him a question and he became very angry. I asked him why he was getting mad and his response was that he had explained enough to us the day before and did we have a problem understanding what he had said! I asked him again why he was yelling and so angry and he told us to get out of his office. He insinuated that we were stupid people. The cat is a part of our family and we were very concerned. We were shocked by his behavior so we never had a chance to express our concerns. We paid a $400.00 bill and left quite stunned. This is not an exaggeration nor did we provoke Peter J. Bluvas in any way. RID: 26598
Click to report rating    11/21/09   2     2     1     2   We were dogsitting for a friend when she was attacked by another dog and was in pretty rough shape with bleeding and vomitting. Our family pet is a patient of this practice. The vet graciously agreed to treat the dog and we are so thankful. However, we were told to call back after hours to see how she was doing. After numerous phone calls and messages, we contacted everyone we could to try and track down the vet. Here we were with no idea of the condition of the dog, what treatments had been provided, and even if the dog was alive. We had no recourse but to call the owner and tell her we had no idea how her dog was doing. We left notes on the doors of the practice to call us to no avail. This was terribly unprofessional and we will be taking our pets and any future animals elsewhere. RID: 15411
