We were referred to this clinic by our vet when moving to Saskatoon. So happy we are here! The staff is very attentive and caring; all doctors we dealt with are knowledgeable, reassuring and spend their time with the furry patients and their two-legged companions very generously, answering all questions we may have. One of our cats is going through a very complicated period, and we appreciate having Dr. Gruen as our vet. She knows cats! We have a couple of vet clinics closer to home, but I do not mind driving extra time just because of the quality of service we get here. My cats also seem to like this clinic and their doctors; they are always calm and behaving there, even when getting their shots. To me that tells a lot.

I recently took my cat there as a referral case from my own clinic. The veterinarians and staff are terrific. They do many procedures that other clinics in the city do not. They allow you to stay with your pet and be involved with all aspects of their treatment. I would highly recommend them for exceptional medicine and care.

The staff here are so knowledgeable and explained every detail to me when my cat was going in for emergency surgery. I was allowed to come visit my cat while he was staying at the hospital for a few days. I have now switched clinics and bring my pets here regularly for shots and check ups. Almost all of the doctors have taken care of my pets and they are all wonderful caring people. Huge thanks to the staff and doctors at central, I would be lost without you!

I am a registered nurse and know when I see an exceptional practitioner. I am very privileged to have Dr. Powell as our vet. For any cat people out there Just Go To Him!!! Brilliant, logical, caring, he is the best.

I've been seeing Dr. Powell for two generations of pets. After moving out of province I still drive 6 hours or more for my pet to see him. I've never encountered a more knowledgeable, kind and compassionate Doctor than Dr. Powell. For example: I adopted a Dalmation and he was the only Doctor (out of five in Calgary) that knew Dalmations are vegetarians and cannot process high purines, everyone else was wanting me to give him drugs. Dr. Powell suggested a different diet and almost overnight his symptoms went away. Amazing! Thank you Dr. Powell, you can never retire or move (unless it's to Caglary).

My family has been going to this clinic for our pets since I was a child. I have never had problems until recently. My cat has special needs and Doctor Powell is perfect, but he is away often which is not good for a cat with needs like mine. On top of that I recently booked an appointment and had to reschedule twice, and now I'm not even seeing Doctor Powell, which is the whole reason I re-booked in the first place. On top of that when I called the receptionist was very rude and said they had tried to contact me several times, but they left no messages, and never tried my cell phone. If I had not called to check my appointment time, I would have gotten to the clinic with my cat and been**** out of luck. I have also noticed in the past that I rarely get into my appointment on time. I arrive 20 min in advance and have waited almost forty min after my appointment time to see the doctor. I don't know how much longer I can continue to frequent them if they don't get their act together.

I recently volunteered at this clinic. I found the staff to be rude, they did not seem to care for the pets or the clients. Techs were doing procedures that vets should legally be doing as pulling out teeth. I also found the prices to be high. Not a good experience.

Dr. Powell is wonderful. My cat was treated at the hosptial as if he was as precious to them as he was to me. He was recommended to me through my regular vet as we need a little more specialized care. I wouldn't hesitate to see him again.

The best.My dog loves going here.She gets lots of attention.The staff are all very friendly and helpful.And you can tell right off there love for the animals.They also explain everything that is going to happen or what they are going to do. I had to have my one dog put down.And the support and time they spent with us was realy something. I was so please I received a foot print and a swat of her hair.Much appricated.

My cats have gone to this clinic for many years and I have always been very pleased with the care they have received. Everyone from the front desk staff to the technicians and the Dr's themselves are friendly and take the time needed to address your concerns. Of special note is Dr Michael Powell who has been my primary vet and who has always gone 'above and beyond' in his care and treatment of my girls. Sometimes the bill seemed a little higher than expected, but it is a small price to pay when we know our pets are being taken good care of.

We see Dr. Jones mainly and she is absolutely great as are any of the technicians that we have seen there. They are very friendly and take what seems to be an unlimited time for check-ups, making sure to answer all of your questions before leaving. It never seems rushed and yet they are usually only 10 minutes behind. My dog loves going there because of all the attention she gets!

It is obvious that the Vets at this clinic love animals. They are kind and gentle and will go the extra mile to provide an accurate diagnosis for even rare disorders. The staff is personable and kind as well, waiting time is fairly good, and prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Staff are real animal lovers and address each animal in passing as though it were a real child. They treat owners with gentleness and care too. They're priced competitively. Facilities are clean and bright and well maintained. Location is not great unless you live in the northeast section of the city.
