I didn't have a good experience with Dr. Stevenson. My dog was elderly and ill when I went to see Dr. Carmin. I did not know that Dr. Carmin handled large animals and was not in the office a good bit of the time. When my dog collapsed in a diabetic coma, and I called, I got Dr. Stevenson who said and I quote," I'm not going to stay up all night with her! Take her to the emergency clinic." I told him she would never make it to emergency clinic which was 45 minuets away. That cut no slack with him, and he refused to help. Needless to say, she died in my arms before she could get help. I have nothing good to say about Dr. Stevenson. Even if he had not seen my dog himself, he and Dr. Carmin share a practice. If she was unavailable, it was his responsibility to step in and provide care. If you have a small companion animal you genuinely care about it would probably be a good idea to find another vet.

Dr. Carman and Dr. Stevenson have been our vets for 13 years now. They are so caring, gentle and really intuitive when it comes to total pet health care. They are honest, have a great bedside manner and treat animals with the respect they deserve. In my experience, they have been our "Dog Whisperers" for many years now and well into the future.
