I have been using Massapequa Hospital for Animals for over 25 yrs. Drs. Fish, Shatz and LaPorta are all wonderful. I have met some of the newer vets now working at this practice. They always have your pets best interest at heart and though some may prefer "more conservative" care, sometimes that is not what your pet needs.

Our pets treated with this vet office for a few years. Most of our experience was with newer vets who lacked the experience or expertise to make a diagnosis. We were not comfortable with the advise to conduct multiple invasive and expensive testing rather than pursuing more conservative care. The front office staff was not especially friendly. So, we have moved on.
