My sister's dog has been going here for years. He's a senior and has been on the same medication for about five years. My sister wanted to get his prescription renewed. The receptionist Julie told her she would not do anything without $300+ worth of bloodwork. She stated that the results of the bloodwork would reveal if he needs to be on a different dosage.
My sister said she could not afford to do that, confirmed he had been on a dosage that was working for him, and asked, "If I don't get bloodwork, you'll just let him die?" to which the awesome Julie responded, "Unfortunately, yes." If you are in the veterinary profession and are this heartless, please, PLEASE go find another job. If you have it within you to be so cruel as to demand $300 or withhold life-saving medication, you are garbage. I'm posting this everywhere so that people can reconsider this practice. If you love your pets, please go somewhere else. This place and the people there are trash (at least you are, Julie!).
