Tech's are wonderful. Vet's not so compassionate. We brought our baby (dog)(dog)for care. Having severe arthritis she was prescribed previcox. We were told she'd need labs done every so often. Understandably so, but not so when they'd want you to pay for the refill before the results were back. Never less my baby had high liver enzymes and they still told me to give her the exact med's that she needed labs ran for. So, I bring her back with concerns of losing her voice when barking and a horrible sound after the bark, to be told it was allergies. I had even requested x-rays at that time (2 months)prior to learning she was suffering with mega esophagus and aspiration pneumonia. Vet's that are experienced would've known that something more was wrong and with her symptoms would've know possibilities. IMO, they just wanted me to keep her alive to keep bringing her in for the money. We need more vets that care about the animal, not their deep pockets. I feel I failed my baby in suffering.
