I am getting my dogs teeth done and find Dr. Dyck very friendly and knowledgeable. She asks many questions & provides honest answers allowing me to decide what tests need to be done & why she is offering them prior to surgery.

I found the staff and veterinarian were very friendly, helpful and caring. Dr. Dyck gave me the time I needed to ask all my questions and was very thorough in her answers. I was treated like I have been a client there for years even though it was my first time there. And yesterday I received a Christmas card in the mail from them with a hand written message about how nice it was to meet me and my dog. I have been to a larger clinic in the city but this is where I will be going from now on.

My 10 month old kitten had a traumatic incident where it broke 2 of it’s nails at the nail bed, in 2 separate incidences within 3 weeks of each other. Dr. Dyck and the staff were awesome with our kitten (and us). She walked us though not only what had to be done immediately, but also what future care would be required. Can’t say enough good things about the folks at this vet clinic.

I can't say enough about my experience. I was seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled time(unlike any human doctor I've been to), reception was friendly and courteous, and Dr Dyck was gracious and thorough. I felt like my dog and I were well taken care of. I'm new to this clinic, and have been searching for this kind of care in vain, until now. I will be returning here again with my pet In the future. Thank you for the great experience.

I just took a 4 month kitten to see Dr Dyck. Vet was friendly, informative and gentle with our kitten. Kitten had an awesome experience with check up and shots. She asked questions of us and answered our questions about pet care. Was extremely impressed with vet and the staff. The staff showed us how to properly clip nails of the kitten, so we could perform the "mani-pedi" ourselves at home. Our Kitten will be returning.

Would never recommend to anyone. Joan is no longer vet at this clinic. She retired. They are crooks. Way over priced. I wouldnt consider them anymore. Will be switching to a new vet immediately.

Of course I would recommend Dutch Hill Vet to anyone who wants a decent place and knowledgeable staff! Joan is a superb veterinarian and when I lived in Winnipeg, I took my dog and cats there, as well as I worked there for 8 years. I live in Albeta and have a new cat and we are getting a new puppy and am a little frightened as to see what kind of pet care they have out here! Joan has been incredible and I recommend her to anyone wanting knowledge, skill, and compassion!!!!

I've taken my cats, rabbits and dogs to Joan since in the mid 1980s. She has a wealth of experience and excellent judgement. She is a no BS Vet; she tells it like it is and does what your pet requires. Ralph, one a my rabbits required his front teeth be clipped every 6 weeks. It was a quick procedure and cost ~18. One Christmas I neglected to make an appointment and Dutch Hill couldn't fit me in so I called 6 other Vet clinics looking for someone who could clip his teeth. Most did not work on rabbits because they were "too fragile" and the couple who would did charged ~150.00 because they anesthetized rabbits before doing any work. Joan and her staff had no such problems. My dogs had been on the 2 year rabies vaccine cycle for several years when a friend told me he was taking his dogs in for their annual rabies booster. I told him my Vet did it every 2 years. When he asked his Vet about the 2 year cycle the Vet did not give his dogs the booster. His other patients???

Great clinic! Dr. Joan-Stewart Hay is a great vet, very knowledgeable in repro issues and general vet care. Staff are very caring!

I did not enjoy dealing with the staff at this vet and was not dealt with very professionally. I didnt even get a chance to bring in my animals, but wont now due to the way the staff treated me when I was in. Wonder how they treat the animals if thats how they treat humans....

Everyone in this clinic is truly committed to the well-being of your animals. Dr. Joan Stewart-Hay is a consumate professional whose incredible knowledge allows her to diagnose intuitively and quickly. She is warm, funny and has a wonderful way with her animals and their people. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. Great staff interested in your animals, greet them when they come in, always friendly and helpful. Clinic is spotless and Dr. Stewart-Hay also practices dentistry which is very convenient. She has seen our animals through from birth to death in a humans, compassionate way that reflects her love of animals and her profession. A +++++++++
