Our pets have been going to Henrietta Animal Hospital for close to 20 years. We've brought our dogs, from puppy to the end of their lives, to see Michelle and she has been like part of our family. We've had to put our 2 dogs down in the past few years, the hardest thing for a pet owner to go through, and she has been amazing. We would never bring our animals anywhere else. Our boys lived to be 15 and 17 thanks to her incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable care.

2 days before Christmas, my veternarian sent us home with our pet on iv therapy. On Christmas night, the fluids were low so I called this 24 hour hospital (the only one in Rochester, NY), explained the situation and asked them if I could get another bag of fluid. They would not talk to me over the phone. I asked to speak to a doctor or technican and was told they were "all busy". They said I had to bring my pet in which was not a problem. They were not too busy to see my pet right away at 4 am. I brought my pet in and they would not give me the iv solution. I told them to call the doctor and get the OK but they refused. They ripped me off (200 plus dollars) and could have just told me when I called that they would not give me the solution. I cant say what the facilities are like because they do not allow you in the exam room with your pet. The doctors were arrogant and had no compassion. They only want money and don't care about anyone. Terrible people. May have some good vets?

I will never return to this vet. In the past, previous vets who treated my cat for UTI allowed me to bring a urine sample to follow up two weeks later in lieu of a second appointment. This vet said I must bring the cat in for a second physical exam. This is stressful to my pet and the diagnosis is dependent on the urine test anyway, so requiring me to return for a full visit is simply to milk more money. The building was old with outdated equipment and broken cabinets that look installed in the 1960s. I decided to go to a different vet and called to have my records faxed, they refused! They said I had to drive all the way over to sign a release form! Other vets just fax records no questions asked! This is a private practice and I got the impression the vet can barely afford to run it so she milks her patients for every penny. A release form? For my cat's medical records? Really?! Its a cat for crying out loud! The HIPPA laws don't apply to cats!
