As a vet, Dr. Star does not care about his profession, which shows in how he treats your pets. He is burnt out. Barking dogs bother him so much that he muzzles them to keep them quiet, even on hot days. He does not hospitalize (thank goodness, as I don't see that he has the skills to treat a hospital case). The extent of his practice seems to be dealing with puppy stores and the dogs they sell. He knows very little about cats. As a business owner, to keep it simple, his only goal seems to be to rip people off, overcharging to the extreme. With the exception of one receptionist, he seems to treat his staff poorly, which will only adversely affect their own treatment of customers. If you are looking for an honest, compassionate vet who is up to the minute on all aspects of veterinary care and treatment, I would advise you to seek one elsewhere.
