Had an emergency with our dog. They helped us as fast as they could and got everything settled. The staff was great and helpful and we'd recommend them to anyone.

Vestal Vet was the emergency on call vet. We called and let them know we were coming 60 min before we got there. My dog was a golden retriever , 10 years, lethargic and they still made us wait 30 min. They are insensitive, ridiculously expensive because of their location, and take advantage of the pet owner. I even asked then to read a report from Cornell Vet to ask their opinion and both Schaffer vets never read the report or got back with me. But when they want money from you, they are right there. The schaffers are rarely there anymore, they hired below par vets into their practice, and I believe they just do t care anymore! Do not be subject to the insensitivity of the office staff, and vets, and go to a different Vet! My golden died that evening after the Vet took 30 min to come out and then spent 2 min with my dog.
