I have brought all my pets to Walker Valley Vet for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences there. The staff and doctors are very caring and efficient. I’m sorry that others had a sad and negative experience but when our kitten was almost mauled to death at 12 weeks old Dr Kate did everything in her power and ability to save him. Beth took care of him and had him on her desk in a basket for 2 days to make sure he made it. He is now happy and very healthy. Both my mother and my sister have used Walker Valley Vet not only because they care but they are THE most reasonably priced vet service in the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend Walker Valley Vet And have referred many people to them. Try for yourself and see

We brought our dog in for a hurt leg. Kate checked the dogs health (in good shape)and suspected a dislocation. She made another appointment for correction. We informed her the dog was sensitive to drugs. On the day of the appointment she was not there and Dr Lawless treated the dog. First a seditive, then an xray. He then administered Anesthetic and proceded to set the leg. After a time he came out and announced the dog had died... "do you want me to put him in a box?" Needless to say I would not recommend this facility. Obviously neither he or his assistant monitored the effects of the seditive/anesthetic mix that killed our lovely dog.

Kate Lucas is a liar. She knowingly over vaccinated my dog, and then when he got really sick from it she made me give him a really expensive blood work up and then when the test results came back and she saw he was weak and low immunity she lied again told me he was probably ok and forcefully coerced me to have him get vaccines. (I wish I had known you are never supposed to vaccinate when the dogs health is compromised.)I begged for no vaccines but she would not hear it and pushed for at least the lyme AND the rabies. (I have since learned NO dog is supposed to get these vaccines at the same time and Lyme vaccine is not even recommended. But she is so forceful and such a money greedy you know what) My dog ended up getting the lyme disease vaccine that day and he has never been the same since. I am not the only one. Lots of dogs/cats she makes sick. DO NOT GO HERE!
