We took our dog here in an emergency situation when we couldn't get to our normal vet. We were told to leave our dog for the day to be observed. I called to check in twice and it was very rushed. Our dog ended up passing away and I feel like we don't even know why. She was old but I still don't understand what happened... I would not go here again. Maybe their pet skills are better than their people skills but I didn't feel that either were good in our case. When your pet is sick you want to know what is happening and why not be brushed off. I wish we would have gone somewhere else.

DrDave Bussan is THE BEST!! He is one of the very few that is a Vet because of his genuine love for animals and not money!! He has been our vet for over 35 years and I have reffered MANY people to his office! I cannot say enough good things about this man!!! He is THE BEST!!

I've been going to this clinic with my pets for over 15 years. I've had my share of bad experiences with a few of the vets there (one of them put a muzzle on my dog to clip his nails! The most harm my dog would do to anyone is lick their hand raw!). The only reason I continue to go there is because of Dr. Alexander. She is the best vet I've ever gone to and actually sits and talks to me about any concerns I have about my pets. She was so compassionate when my cat had cancer and we had to put him to sleep. She made a donation in his name to an animal foundation and sent the most heartwarming sympathy card to me. She by far is the best vet ever!

[note to administrator: new, edited comment] For awhile I liked and trusted Vet Dr. Goeckner. He can be charming, like most good businessmen. I regret to say I hold him responsible for the death of my cat. Dr. Goeckner anestetized my cat for non-emergency dental procedure, knowing the cat's glucose was over 400 (and elevated liver enzyme). He failed to provide adequate follow-up care. I took the cat back, said I thought he acted like he was dying; Dr. Goeckner did not hospitalize him. The next evening I took the cat in; the doctor now acknowledged cat was gravely ill, yet he intended to hook him to IV and leave him alone overnight. Now I fired Dr. Goeckner, and he got angry--practically slammed his stethoscope down next to my dying cat. The doctor then kept inserting himself in the case by calling the next veterinarians (emergency clinic). He misrepresented cat's medical history to cover his own mistakes. If you love your pet, I wouldn't use this clinic.

In early August, 2006, Dr. R. Goeckner anesthetized my cat for a routine dental procedure, knowing the cat's glucose was elevated over 400 and at least one liver enzyme also elevated. He provided very inadequate follow-up care over the next three days while the cat was subsequently suffering and dying. When I finally fired Dr. Goeckner and took my cat to an emergency clinic, Dr. Goeckner then kept himself involved, pretending he was still the veterinarian and calling the emergency staff doctors. He, furthermore, misrepresented facts about my cat's situation in an effort to cover himself. He has refused to give me the cat's records and continued to be less than honest. Please prevent this kind of thing from happening to anyone else. I lost my cat from negligence.
