Dr Edoff diagnosed my new 8 wk old puppy with a urinary tract infection and put her on two courses of heavy antibiotics. She took the puppy from me, when I first arrived, much to my surprise, and. refused to allow me to accompany her during the exam. The dog returned quite distressed and vomited in the car, which she hadn't done before. (This behavior continued everytime she went into my car after that for months). I finally switched vets. The new vet reviewed her records and also consulted the technicians who had done the lab work. Neither agreed with Dr Edoff's interpretation of the lab work and felt she did not have a urinary tract infection. I consulted a third vet who concurred with these two. A friend recently told me Dr Edoff had misdiagnosed her cat with a UTI. The cat had cancer. I have since heard other negative stories. This vet should not be practicing.

I really like the doctor, and the support staff at this hospital. It is a holistic clinic, so they do not push unnecessary medications, vaccinations, food on the client. However, I think they make up in lost revenue from pharmaceutical sales by higher prices in other areas. I think it's worth the extra money to keep my animals chemical-free, healthy and happy.
