I was a walkin with a sick dog. I was seen within a half hour and Dr. Frank Acevedo was kind and gentle with my baby. .

Dr. Larry Dee is the best. He saved my dogs life! I would let him do surgery on me if I needed it.

Do not go to this animal hospital if you love your pet! My cat was poorly examined twice and misdiagnosed with cancer, given chemotherapy needlessly and he almost died! Worst place I have ever been! Thank god I found caring, thorough doctors at Animal Cancer Care and wellness center. I am sure a plumber could have diagnosed my cat better than this hospital did!

Ive had all three of my dogs treated there in the last 6 weeks . . . Some of the staff are helpful but in general I do not like the way my dogs & I have been treated. As far as the Dr's, 5 different vets have diagnosed my pets. In my opinion, only one Dr helped 1of my dogs and last week a different Dr. sent my dog and I home after a 15 min visit, tests, no treatment and a bill over $400.00. Two hours later my dog was struggling to breathe. I called a different hosp & I was told she needed oxygen, I needed to hurry there! The Dr put her on oxygen & said she was unstable. The Dr couldnt believe that another vet had seen my dog hrs before & sent her home. My dog had surgery to save her life. She would have had heart failure at home that night. The vet @ Hollywd Anim Hosp had recommended I bring her back the next day for 2more tests ($660.00) to help him diagnose her. Thank goodness I called another hospital & the Dr there diagnosed her within 10 min & she received professional care.

Dr. Sessa is the most wonderful dr. He is carring and worries about the animals in his care. The front office staff at the main facility is sometimes so rushed that they do not take the time the should but the people in the anex are the best. The hospital has be completely rebuilt and is wonderful and they are also there 24 hours a day which can be important

I had such a bad experience at Hollywood Animal Hospital. After waiting forever, I finally saw Dr. Sessa who acted like he didn't know anything. The office was dirty and had a bad smell. I would not ever go back there.

Absolutely amazing new facility! Doctors are wonderful and well trained. They have a genuine care for the animals. If they talk about price alot, it is to inform the client and help them make a good decision regarding the care of their animal. I was so pleased to see how personal the staff was even at such a large hoapital.

Thomas Sessa is a great surgeon. He has performed miracles and I have always been happy. The man does 10-15 surgeries a day. He has a natural talent for planning proper care for very sick animals. In the past my cat was limping for a week or so ,I went to 2 other vets in and they both said she needed $3500 ACL knee surgery right away. I went to DR.Sessa he said keep her in one room for a few days and see how she walks . 3 days later, she was her own self-running around that was over a year ago . For general checkups, I would recommend a smaller veterinary clinic but if they want, you to do something that might involve surgery see Sessa for a second opinion. Hollywood Animal Hospital is an old facility that looks dirty but it is super busy and cleaned every day.

Our family has only had good results with the staff and facility. 24 hour a day care for my emergencies on multiple occasions.

There is no one better than Dr. Sessa and no place better than the Hollywood Animal Hospital. The Best!!!!

While many of the vets here leave you lacking for more, Dr. Thomas Sessa has always done right by my family. He has seen generation after generation of our family and has always seemed to care about the animal over the price. Never did he talk us into anything that wasn't necessary. I highly recommend HIM.

I have given this facility and its 17!! doctors more than one oppertunity to do right by me and my animals. It is very pricey and all they want to discuss is the price of treatment. I have seen 6 dif. doctors and didnt feel that any of them had a genuine interest in my pets welfare. The have "state of the art equipment" but horrible service, long waits, rude staff, and outrageous prices. Don't waste your time or your animals welfare here!
