Took our dog for a hematoma of the ear. Previously he had one on his other ear and had it sutured at a different vet and had no problem. This time we could only get an appointment at this vet. Although we mentioned suturing the ear we were convinced to have another method while being assured that it would work. It took an hour and we were impressed. After the canula was removed the ear filled up in two days. We were told a different part of the ear had filled up our old dog was put through hell again and a 1hr surgical procedure was done in 1/2 hour. We were given antibiotics but realized after we had not been given the pain meds that we had been given previously. Our dog was in pain necessarily and I feel that we were rushed as it was the end of the day. Not impressed and won't recommend this vet. Sad.

I have been with CVAH since 2001, we have had nothing but great experiences with our pets. Both Past and Present Doctors and staff have been wonderful. My 15 1/2 year old dog always gets the best care when we have to take her in. She has had great care and attention by all at CVAH. All are very helpful, caring and knowledgeable. Thanks for all you do.

I decided to bring my dog to this vet clinic because I heard through the grapevine that is was a great place. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a young girl that seemed a little confused. When I was brought into the exam room, after discussing my dogs current issues, it was recommended that my dog have an ultrasound to rule out other potential areas of concern. The female doctor was cold and uncaring and appeared as though I was a waste of her time. I agreed to the ultrasound nonetheless. The young nurse with red hair who assisted holding my dog was rude and obnoxious. I tried to discuss a care plan with her afterwards and she was very argumentative. Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed with this clinic. I will be taking my business elsewhere and alerting others about the service here.

They were wonderful! So much kindness and empathy. The vets were very honest about my cats diagnosis. I appreciated this. We would highly recommend them!

My dog suffered a serious emergency and after being told by one of the big fancier clinics that all their doctors were booked solid that day, this clinic was able to see me immediately. When I arrived the two receptionists greeted me right away and asked if I needed any assistance. Those two girls were very empathetic and it meant a lot to me. My dog was rushed in and the female doctor saw him immediately. I was given an estimate for treatment, there were no surprises or any hidden fees! My dog has recovered very well, and I now I bring all my animals here.

In my opinion ..... Dr Elmer is the rudest man I have ever spoken to .Marianne was wonderful and supportive while my beloved pet was being put to sleep . In my opinion I feel I was lied to by front desk staff and by a female vet I thought was a caring vet but she is about every dime she can milk out of you while your grieving and valuable . I will never recommend this clinic and I'm still so upset by what transpired . Word of mouth is huge .

I have to respond to the last post made by a previous staff memeber: as a current staff member of over 4 years, it's not fair to take out anger of a situation on your "friends" wh ocontinue to work at said facility. As with any job, there are positives and negatives, I think it's much healthier to focus on the positives. As a veterinary professional, my opinion is Dr Phillipson brings years of expertise, and Dr Briggs, new to the clinic 2 years ago, is very thorough and caring. I greatly enjoy being a member of this team.

A great veterinary clinic. We've used them a lot and been very happy every time. All staff are very good, and Dr. Phillipson is wonderful.
