We have always adored Dr Sowders but after my dog died 2 days ago of cancer, I am seriously questioning how caring and capable they are. Since January, I have told the Dr that my dog is not right. 2 blood tests, 2 x-rays, multiple urinalysis, and fecal tests, 2 rounds of antibiotics, and my baby ended up on Dryden Road in the Urgent Care. About 15 minutes into our visit, they confirmed that my dog was ate up with cancer. It had spread to other organs most likely starting with the spleen. The worst part to me is that I have yet to receive a phone call for condolences or an explanation how this could have missed.

I have gone to this clinic for about 3 years now and find the staff very courteous and helpful. Dr. Alice Sowders is a very caring and compassionate vet, who will take the extra time to explain procedures, and will stay long past closing to help a sick animal. I have referred several of my friends to her and will continue to do so. She is very knowledgeable of brachycephalic breeds, has state of the art equipment, and is a reproduction specialist. She does laser surgery and also gives cold laser treatments. I can't say enough good things about her and the staff that works there.

Was a wonderful clinic under Dr. Horton. Not so much now that Dr. Sowders owns it. She missed a diagnosis from my dog's bloodwork that could've killed him without treatment. Keep searching for another vet!
