No emergency facility, sent my dog home in obvious pain and distress without even taking a blood sample. Two days later a trip to the emergency hospital in Red Bank where my beloved almost died. How can you be a vet without even palpitaing an obviously distended stomach? Save your pets and go elsewhere. He is good only for vaccinations

I had a cat in obvious and progressive pain on Friday. I called and spoke to Dr. Manuel who advised me that the office was closed (4:30 PM) and that to call back Sat morning at 10 AM for an appointment. He asked no questions about the cat who had been a patient if his since at least 2001 and offered no other advice.
When I called at the hour directed I was told that the Doctor's schedule was full and that "nothing could be done about it." Indeed two other patients had already been turned away.
Once again, there was no voluntary information given as to what I could do for my suffering animal.
In my opinion this treatment, or rather lack of treatment, was absolutely unacceptable.

This Dr. is extremely knowledgable. He's able to diagnose problems without ordering hundreds of dollars worth of tests, as some other vets do. His prices are reasonable and the care is excellent. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Manuel is the only vet in this small facility. I have seen cats & dogs in the waiting area; I am unsure if he treats other animals. I know he does do some surgeries but I don't know how extensive. The staff is small but I think the price when compared to others in the area is more than fair. He is a kind and gentle vet. He cares about the general well being of animals more that most of the vets which I have used in the past. My cat had an unusual open wound on her neck that looked very bad. He stitched her up on an such angle that it would not hurt her to turn her neck or move her head all around and also to heel properly. She heeled perfectly without any problems. I have used him at-least 5 times and I highly recommend him.
