I initially took my little box turtle in to have her beak & nails trimmed. My hands weren’t strong enough to do it anymore. Having her for many years made her a special friend. Those people that work there made up stuff & took the story out of context. They asked me if I wanted her. I told them if someone could take better care of her, I was willing to let her go. Man, that’s when the lies started in! I used to take her to an elementary school a couple times a year. I think she liked it. I gave her baths. She had a little pool that she liked. I tried other ways to get her in water but she would not use them. Years ago I took her to Dr Kevin Fitzgerald who told me it was a girl. He knew what I fed her & said if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. This vet place said it was a boy. Everything they said was really very mean & other than the sex of the turtle, not true! If you go here, be careful with your wording. Don’t trust that idiot woman that does the rehoming..

This clinic truly cares about pets, they help people who cannot afford care for their pets, where a lot of other veterinary clinics would put them to sleep. They also do rescue and spay and neuter low cost or free...

I have been taking my cat here for treatment of diabetes. From what I have seen they care more about getting as many people in & out as fast as possible then they really care about the pets or their health! I would suggest you take "fido" or "mittens" somewhere else! I have witnessed them mistreating animals TWICE & now plan to find a new vet. The 1st time I saw a vet tech come out to take someones dog back and she walked thru the swinging door but didnt bother to make sure the dog made it thru & the dog was hit with the door in the face! The 2nd time I was there very early when all the pets were getting dropped off for surgery or treatments. They had stacked all the cats in their carriers and there were about 10-12 of them. 2 of the technicians came out & tried to grab ALL OF THE CARRIERS AT ONCE & EVEN DROPPED SOME OF THE CARRIERS THAT HAD LIVE ANIMALS IN THEM!! I couldn't believe my eyes! My cat always limps after they take her back too! Seeking a vet that cares!

Dr. Jeff Young - smart man, not there when you need him, has too many irons in the fire. "Clinic is not set up to provide top quality care." That is a quote from the staff vet whose shoddy exam of my dog led to her death from kidney failure four months later. Vet did not detect weight loss or change in kidney values. Young runs a low-cost clinic and has to make up for it by handling a high volume of animals quickly. He does not run the kind of operation you want if your pet means everything to you.

We take both our dogs here and have never had a problem. The entire staff really cares about the animals and the vets give very thorough exams and take time to discuss all the options available. They will also work with you on payments. This vet is doing a lot to help control the unwanted pet population too. They're great!

They performed exploratory surgery on my Dog when she was already depressed and sick, I consented, not knowing any better, they should have scoped her first or given a referral to someone who could,a less invasive procedure, our pet had to be put down, she was unable to recover from surgery, I rushed her to Wheatridge AHS 2 1/2 days after surgery, and she spent a day and a 1/2 having test after test performed at a cost of $2300, and I still didnt find out why she was sick in the first place
