Dr. Egan and staff are amazing. Dr. Egan has been our vet for over twelve years and taken excellent care of our animals. I met him when we brought our GSD into his clinic. She had a lump on her foot that two other vets could not fix. At first he was stumped as well and told us so. He did not try different treatments that would have cost us more money, he did research (which he did not charge for), found the answer, performed the surgery and she could walk again. Dr. Egan has been there for us from birth to end with three of our animals and I would highly recommend him as the health care provider of your animals. He is kind, trustworthy and compassionate and truly loves his patients, even the noisy ones. Thank you Sean and staff for all that you did for Jerri-Lee and our family throughout her too short life (12 years).

Dr. Louise Kelly examined our 11-year old cat today for what we thought might be constipation. Complete exam done & enema not required. Further, we were impressed by the fact that Dr. Kelly could find no problems so told us she did not feel it was necessary to go on a fishing trip, i.e. blood tests, x-rays etc. We like this doctor all ready. She presented as caring, compassionate & willing to listen to us. Dr. Kelly provided good advice to address recurring hard stools. Staff in reception were very helpful & friendly.

As my dog lay dying on my couch dr egan refused to treat him because we havent been there in two years. While i understand this is a business where is the love and compassion for animals? They gave me a phone number to call and said good luck. I will NEVER bring another animal there and i encourage anyone else to consider searching for another vet! A vet that is about the animals and not the money, a vet that cares! Instead of comforting my dog in his last hours, I had to fight and argue trying to get care for him resulting in Dr Egan not treating him saying it is not his PROBLEM!!!! If you decide to have Dr Egan as a vet i wish you and your animal luck and I pray you dont get turned away like we were!

Dr.Egan is a good vet. Problem is his underling vets! This past spring, Dr Egan was out. Staff gave us Dr. Louise Kelly. Dog was sick(bad vomiting/diarrhea). Kelly, after little testing, says he has Lymphoma/days to live... We took dog home,weep our eyes out. Two weeks later:dog is still alive, but still has bad diarrhea (vomiting had stopped). Kelly says he will die anyday/ups his meds. Next week:still had diarrhea, proscribes human medication(4dif. meds 2x/day 30lb dog) Next week:still had diarrhea,but still alive. I decide on a 2nd.opinion: New Vet reads test data Kelly took & he cant figure how she got Lymphoma. New testing determines dog has Virus. Also dog is severely overdosed on meds. TWO PILLS of antibiotics fix the entire dog. Today dog ALIVE&HAPPY. No issues! No lymphoma! Egan's office knows who I am! Egan/Kelly havn't called to offer an apology or my money back. Kelly was either trying to kill the dog or is totally incompetent--dont let her touch your animals!

We have been going to Dr Egan's clinic for as long as he has been in Chatham - would not think of going elsewhere. He has always been fantastic with the animals, explains everything in terms that we can understand. He has seen us during off-hours, late at night, early in the a.m. - through good and bad. One instance in particular, one of our little ones was very ill, it was 10:30 at night, I called Dr Egan, he had me come in at that time - met me at the clinic at 11:00 p.m. - my boy had to be euthanized, Dr Egan knew that and he probably wouldn't have survived the night - but he didn't want to take the chance of me having to be on the roads the next morning - we were expecting a blizzard - above and beyond what would be expected. We are thinking of relocating in the near future and leaving Egan Animal Clinic is a major drawback to our plan.

We took our dog there for 5 years. Sean Egan and the other vets are fantastic. Very practial, give options and don't charge you unfairly. He genuinely likes the animals. He's a fantastic vet. We just moved away and are so sad to leave the clinic. We're actually considering driving two hours back to Chatham just to continue with his service!

He is a natural born Vet!!! He is just amazing with the animals and so nice and caring. I will NEVER take my pets anywhere else!!! Super smart too!! I have nothing but good to say about him and his staff!!! #1 Vet!!
