Dr. Django Martel is the best vet we have ever had. He is an excellent diagnostician and communicates everything to us very clearly and with care. He has cared for our cat for many years, and we believe, he is the reason she has lived so long!

Finally found a friendly knowledgable vet to see my dog. Dr Martel helped diagnose my dogs back pain, while other vets couldnt figure it out. He gave us some medicine and now Murphy is feeling much better.
Thanks!

We have had our beloved dog under Dr. Martel's care for several years and we never fail to appreciate his skill, intelligence and compassion--to us as well as our pet. We have full faith in the West Village-Tribeca vet practices and often recommend Dr. Martel to newcomers in the neighborhood, who have been overwhelmingly delighted. It pains me when I read negative comments above, many of which are written by people who in their grief, anger, or ignorance, unfairly blame (and defame) an outstanding doctor and practice for events for which users of these boards have so few facts. I can absolutley assure you that in this New York neighborhood, where dogs are cherished and citizens never hesitate to raise their voices, no practitioner who did not operate at the highest standards would last long.

Our puppy died on Dr. Martel's watch. She was healthy and in for a very routine procedure. We are beoynd devastated and disappointed that we did not know sooner of such incompetence.

Dr. Django Martell "accidentally" sewed my dog's kidney into her abdominal lining while performing her spay. His malpractice has caused my dog serious pain, loss of a kidney, and $7,000 in hospital bills which he refuses to pay, even though he acknowledges his mistake. The manager at the Tribeca SoHo Animal Hospital, Dr. Mark Burns, refuses to take responsibility for his staff. A really shoddy operatoin, and a despicable veterinarian. Luckily, in a city this big no one has to settle for a lousy doctor. Stay away if you love your little one.
