Dr. Schaup is a very kind lady. Recently went to Chadwell's after too many bad experiences with my previous vet. I had two very sick kitties that the old vet totally misdiagnosed. They both passed within 2 months of each other but might have been saved had they been properly diagnosed. Dr Schaup did her best to make them as confortable as possible for the little time the had left.

Love, love, love this Veterinarian!!! What's better yet, all my Dogs love her too, she is the VERY Best!!

This vet is reasonably priced and took the time to care for our dog before rushing into surgery or euthanasia. They were a life saver for us and our pet. I highly recommend them and will be transferring our pets to this facility. Thank you!

Avoid like the plague. They made me wait several hours in the waiting room although I had an emergency appointment, they insulted me and what's worse treated my pet disrespectfully and they didn't have anything useful to contribute to her health. They forced some horrific yet expensive food on me (a formula for both cats and dogs, can you believe they even make such a thing). I did not want it nor did the animal need it, but I was obliged to pay for some of it willy nilly because the veterinarian opened it without my say-so during the office visit. She pried some of it out with her fingers and dumped it straight on her nasty counter and fed my pet there while I watched appalled. My pet was hungry from the three hours in the waiting room - their fault. About 10 people went in before me and they had told me over the phone to come quickly due to the pet's symptoms.

I am really happy that I found this vet after some less than desirable experiences with my last 2 vets. They are willing to work me when I want to take a more natural or holistic approach. The staff really takes the time to get to know you and your pets.

Dr Deans sees my birds shes great with them and is genuinely concerned about there diet weight and health she handles them with care and is very understanding towards my concerns Dr Gold sees my husbands snakes and helped us during a very serious prolapse that our female GTP had she went into surgery and Dr. Gold called me and told me it could be fixed but she my not make it or she may have a bad quality of life he gave me a few options i opted to humanely euth her while she was asleep. he was very sympathetic and gave her back to me all sewn up and looking as if she had just been sleeping. i will be bringing all my cats and dog here now too i like his staff and his prices are very reasonable.
