I think Dr. Rich only cares about money. Some of his stafss are very unprofesional, talks like they are very uneducated, and are just rude. They made a mistake in pricing. Even Dr. Kurtz admitted her mistakes. Instead of doing the right thing, Dr. Rich wanted us to pay for half because he THOUGHT that was fair. It was a difference of almost $1000.

Dr. Rich is the most rude and condescending person I have ever met. He doesn't even treat his staff and associates with as much respect as he demands for himself. He's definately one of those arrogant vets that I never want to see again. THe other vets however are just fine.

I have worked with six different vets at this practice -- Drs. Rich, Sprague, Eisenberg, Zalis, Echols and Mehta -- and I am comfortable with all of them, including with my special needs pets. Services are a little pricey here, but this is Hoboken, after all. They do have regular weekday evening hours, which has often proved convenient. And all of the vets have always been very caring with my animals and seem quite knowledgable, especially the more senior vets. Their care has meant the difference between life and death on more than one occasion. The vet techs are all OK, but Kevin is particularly excellent. The reception staff are all wonderful, except Jeanine who has proven a little spacey at times.
