Do NOT take your pet to Dr Fellows at Lake City if you love your pet! She is incompetent and needs to change professions or go back to vet school.
She misdiagnosed my pet and he's dead. She's too inexperienced to give an expert opinion.
Her bedside manner is awful, she has zero emotion and could care less whether your pet is sick or not.
Do your beloved pet a favor and steer clear of her.

Moved here in 2006;took my dog to this vet cuz it was the closest. Her Lyme's was acting up. Dr. NOT interested in past records, wanted to test for Lymes (told him she would always test positive forevermore) He expected her to wait for antibiotics until test results came thru! Upon my insistence, he prescribed 3 tabs until results came back, which were positive. All he had to do was look at her records!! I expressed an interest in the kennels; so we went to look --looked worse than prisons in documentaries -- no way would my pet camp out there! And that was the end of my relationship with Lake City Vets.

Oh my gosh!! "Dr seem burnt out" really? Dr Carmichael is always so energetic and seems so happy to be at work. He volunteers at my kids schools. He even gets them excited about his job. The front desk makes me feel welcome every time I am there. With 7 animals we are there a lot. I never feel like they are trying to up sell or over charge me. Remember most people don't write good comments. When was the last time you made a good comment on a website? It seems like people that are unhappy with life post things. I agree with previous post. Go judge for yourself.

The doctors here and at Acworth Animal Hospitsl are very nice. They have cared for our animals for years. After reading the previous comments I am very surprised. It is also one of the reasons I don't like ratings like this. You can't get both sides of the story. They have always worked within my budget. I trusted them for years and still do. I suggest you go in and meet the staff and decide for yourself.

Terrible experiences! They recommended a $1000 procedure for my cat... I took her to another vet and she was fixed up for less than $100, and with a much less invasive and painless procedure than the vet here recommended. Then they turned me over to collections for a bounced check. I brought the CLEARED check in and showed it to them and they admitted it was their mistake, but took forever to get them to contact their collection company. Awful, awful, awful - more concerned with making $$ any way they can than with the well being of anyone's pets.

The exam rooms are very tiny. The docs seem burnt out...not very friendly with me or my dogs. Seems like every time my dog(S) have an issue they want to put them under and xray them. That's $250 just for the anesthesia...I don't know about other peoples dogs, but mine will lay still for as long as you want to take a 10 second xray. Give me a break!

We have had all our pets treated here. Our last pet was diagnosed with terminal cancer after multiple visits and misdiagnoses. The vet seemed to never read the pet's history of visits and treated him topically each time. We had terrible issues getting medicine in a timely manner and when we had to have our pet put down, the experience was made even more horrible by the staff and the vet on duty. They botched the euthanasia making our pet further suffer and when I wrote a formal complaint 3 months later, they never responded but sent a bill for the euthanasia. After 11 years of doing business with them, I recommend that you never use them for anything.

Twice I've had an appt to drop off my dog & it's taken up to 30 min just to do that. It took over an hour to have him brought out to me when I went to pick him up! People were waiting & complaining that they had called in for medicine ahead of time & it wasn't ready. I asked to have records faxed to another vet; 6 days & numerous phone calls later, the records still aren't faxed.
