Our 2+ year old rat needed his 'final appointment' and we had just recently moved to Eugene. Delta Oaks was close to our house and they had time for us, so we went. They seemed nice and competent, until it came time to put Stewie down... The vet seemed to know what he was doing, but couldn't even properly euthanize a rat. Took 3 rounds of Sod.Pent (enough to drop a 60# dog.) to get the job done. We sat there for 45 minutes, while they gave repeated abdominal injections (obviously painful for Stewie) and kept checking to see if was dead yet. We will never go back. EVER
