I don't want to denigrate a new vet if there is one there, but the one who used to run this practice was horrible. He told me first thing that I was a bad dog owner because my dog peed on his carpet - he also complained about light-colored dogs getting fur on his carpet. Who puts carpet in a pet place and complains when it gets furred? He scared my dog (german shepherd mix) which is why he peed. Told me my dog had a staph infection and that elizabethan collars didn't work. He then proceeded to put a bucket on my dog's head with a hole cut out for his head and tied it on with women's nylons. This was not a cheap fix either. The vet bill was high. Poor dog had absolutely no peripheral vision in the bucket and not only looked ridiculous, but ran into everything all the time. Never went back to this vet!
