Cannot rate the vet because I never got past the front desk and vet tech. I adopted a cat from Barks in December and was instructed at the time to make an appointment at Fredon Animal Hospital for the remainder of the required vaccines and that the fee for these vaccines was included in the adoption fee of approx. $100. I did as instructed and arrived for my appointment on time and was told the vet tech would be with me shortly. A woman did approach me and instructed me to give her the paper work and MY cat. I was confused at first and stated that I would be going with my cat. The "vet tech" then said that I didn't have an appointment and didn't pay for this visit. I refused to allow the cat to go alone stating that I did not know her or the vet. She was rude and continued to imply that this was a take it as it is situation and she would be reporting this to Barks and would have kitten taken from me. Her people skills were not the best. And someone should remind her tha

staff does not want to see your animal in an emergency even though you and your pets have been a client of theirs for over 10 years, show very little compassion for you and your pet in an emergent situation.

I could not have asked for a better experience when I had to bring my cat Striper in for help. The doctor spent at least 15 minutes with me just going over bloodwork (done elsewhere), the moment he examined my cat, he recognized there was a serious mass in his belly (another vet never felt). Dr Goldstein acted immediately to care for my beloved pet. While the outcome for poor Striper was very bad (pancreatic cancer), I could not have asked for more competent, courteous, and caring doctors and staff to deal with both my sick cat and an emotional pet-owner. I highly recommend this clinic. Not to mention the reasonable charges, thank goodness there are some doctors who are in the field to truly take care of pets and not just for the almighty dollar.

This is a very caring animal hospital and is very affordable. We are in there at least once a year for our dogs annual check-up, but they still remember us and our dogs, and not because they have their charts in front of them. They remember personal things about you and your family. I am not sure why people are writing negative things about the staff. We are happy when we leave. Keep up the good work!

I don't think I have ever come across such a nasty group of people who treat their customers like crap. Ignorant, stubborn, and always right - take your pets elsewhere! All of these positive ratings on the Internet must be paid for because frankly, from I've seen, Linda Grau and her associates do not treat their customers fairly. I don't know many people who have good things to say about this place.

Dr. Grau is wonderful. She explains all options available, has a lot of knowledge and is very compassionate to our animals. The staff is compassionate and friendly. Dr. Grau is obviously a veterinarian for the right reason--love of animals, as opposed to love of money. Maybe a larger practice would have more flexible availability but they certainly wouldn't care more. This practice has that small town, personalized care that we love.

I still love this veterinary practice. The staff is compassionate, Dr. Grau is great with animals, although sometimes she can be a bit rough with the people. A recent remodel has updated the facility nicely, but I also believe it's forced an increase in prices. Still reasonable and well worth the trip.

Great experience and fantastic vet. Dr. Grau is a very compassionate person and the staff is clearly caring. Both of my dogs are well cared for with Fredon Animal Hospital, they have a customer for a lifetime.

Do not believe monitored overnight care - your pet will be left alone to fend for itself! I learned the hard way. Everyone said they were cheaper than everyone else around, now I know why. You get what you pay for. Walk away.

Dr Grau is a wonderful vet! The staff is also great.Dr. Grau is down to earth no airs and knows her stuff. Very reasonable. She even gets down on the floor and plays with the animals and is just so great with the animals. She is the best!
