My shelter dog's adoption included a free first vet visit - Pennell was the nearest choice. I've taken her there for over 10 years now. In general, I like them. Office staff are marvelous. The woman vet talks baby-talk to the animals but is quite good I think. Dr. S. is good, but is often condescending to the humans. Not important, I guess, as long as he's kind and professional with the critters. I don't have anything to compare their prices to. Very good flexible appointment scheduling - evening and weekends.

I was given a price for the removal of a very small mast cell tumer, after the proceedure I was charged an extra $100.00. Not happy about that!

I took my dog to this vet and he was treated for a minor parasite. Meanwhile he was dying of something else. Finally got a second oppinion and we are now trying to save him. I do not recommend this clinic.
