Click to report rating    8/1/23   1     2     5     1   I took my service cat to them for an infection in her ear. The first time they were wonderful. I came back for the follow up appointment today and they were nice UNTIL they mentioned they wanted to give her vaccines. I explained that I did not have the money for them today, Dr. Kaleigh Flock explained about my cat needing the rabies vaccine again. I reiterated that I do not have the money today for it today. Immediately after I finished that sentence the staff began to have an attitude with me about it and walked out of the room. When I went out to pay for my bill, I explained to the front desk I didn't appreciate the attitude and all she did was basically reiterate what the doctor said and tried to make me feel bad about the situation. Click to report rating    7/15/23   1     1     1     1   Every single part of going to this Vet Hospital was AWFUL!!! First of all my dog had been a patient there for over 9 years. When I called and explained my dogs concerning symptoms they told me to take her to the vet emergency room or I have to wait FIVE DAYS to get an appointment. I waited the five days and she was seen by Dr. Brooks. She immediately began examining my dog, never even looking at me, she just rattled off all these bad sounding things to her vet tech. Within 30 minutes of being there I was charged 800$ and had ZERO DIAGNOSIS!!! she wanted me to spend TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS on more tests. I agreed to countless blood work but ended up with no explanation and was told to take her to the plains vet hospital. Dr Brooks offered me these exact words as I was sent out “if this were my dog I would be freaking out”. I asked if she could take an X-ray after the 800$ worth of blood tests and she said it may or may not show a tumor. I left in tears, I felt swindled. Worst experience!!! RID: 70767

Click to report rating    5/1/15   1     1     2     1   My dog had surgery there he waited 8 HOURS after not eating and drinking from the night before. He came back from surgery with bad anxiety. We had to put him to sleep. They blew his IV and the dr. looked at the dog and said Dont worry you have another vein. I will not take my other dog there and this place was awful. They killed my dog the techs were very nice drs. were the problem RID: 56864
Click to report rating    1/21/14   2     2     1     1   My dog was very sick and I felt like the vet ,Dr Brooks, was only concerned about the money. I felt the vet didn't want to hear what I said. She was more concerned about putting my dog down then trying different treatments. Switched doctors and my dog is doing well. I will not return there. The tics and girls at the desk are very nice RID: 49389
Click to report rating    1/15/14   3     1     2     3   An extremely poisonous environment for any self-respecting person to work. The office manager and owner are duplicitous, demeaning, and devaluing toward their staff as a whole. Gossip about coworkers runs amuck and negatively impacts positions in an extremely personal way....highly unprofessional. Dirt-poor wages. Medicine practiced is largely good, but facility itself hasn't been updated since the early 1970s and isn't aesthetically pleasing. Reasonable price for office visit, vaccs, n certain procedures but owner runs up estimates with unnecessary charges. Bottom line: you've been warned, whether looking for a job or service for your pet!! RID: 49275
Click to report rating    6/27/13   3     4     4     1   Due to a move my husband&I tried this animal hospital for the first time-It will be our last visit. I rated the staff a 3 but only b/c the vet techs, the women at the desk& the other female staff that we encountered were very friendly&affectionate to my dog and myself. However, the veterinarian, Dr. Phillips, would have earned a two at most. He didn't seem to care at all about my dog&was condescending& rude to his staff. Facilities-slightly dated. My appt began a bit late but not bad. Didn't think they were too overpriced until I saw I was charged $20 for the reapplication of a 3 inch bandage-Which was the reason for our visit in the first place. The vet had just finished reminding me for the 3rd time not to let her lick it but then planned to send me home for an hour drive without it bandaged. When I called to see if there was a mistake on my bill I was told bandaging isn't part of the visit-even though we were there due to a wound he told us not to let her get at. Will not revisit!!
