My dog was scheduled for bladder stone surgery, after my initial office visit was set up incorrectly I showed concern with their office staff. When my dog was dropped off for surgery they didn't plan to do the additional procedures (teeth cleaning and nail trim) I had previous requested when his surgery was set up. Then they tell my husband (who was dropping the dog off) that he could be picked up the next day, which again the office had mis-informed me of. I again showed concern with the front desk staff and spoke with the doctor. After our conversation he gave me the option of not doing the surgery at all if I was untrusting of his staff. I told Dr. Hoover I was confident with him and did want the surgery done. 5 min after I got off the phone with him he called my husband and told him to come pick the dog up, they would not do the surgery. They had already given my dog an injection to prep him for the surgery so he was drowsy and slow all day.
