It's the old adage: you get what you pay for. Went there for a long time several years ago. Were very busy then too - only drawback is the wait. But, you wait a long time at the animal emergency clinic too and if you want to see high prices, try going there. The wait time at Shaker is usually due to taking in emergencies including strays that have been hit, etc. Very compassionate and knowledgeable vets.

Have had good luck and great treatment with my dogs there, even boarded there. Would love to see a run area for boarding added instead of walking. Was a bit unhappy with one of the vet's treatment of my cat with UTI, Dr. Hardaker solved the problem.

They are the greatest group of people I have ever met. When my min pin was ill with pneumonia, they made sure that he received the best care and worked with the emergency hospital to get him care at night when they werent there. They cared about him as if he was their own family member. Even now that we have moved out of state, they still ask my parents how he is doing every time they bring their dog in. They go out of their way to make sure their patients are receiving the best care possible!
