The diagnosis was lyme diease, then crutiate ligament.---Went to a specialist they were WRONG. Try bone cancer! The specialist said anyone with a half of a brain in this field should have know that, just by looking at the films. Unfortuanely we had to go back and have hime put to sleep. That was nother nightmare!--Try one hour of putting my dog to sleep!!!They will get theirs. I called on Monday morning to make appointment to have my dog ethinized that evening. We go my husband waited outside, until the time was ready. This is how they follow procedure. They lead you into a room made you wait, gave the vet the films (the tumor grew from a pea to a oragne in 3 weeks)the vet comes out and asked if I was sure I wanted to do this and we could amputate. I said to her I discussed this with the specialist, he mentioned it but it might not do anygood. Please realize this was a 160lb Great Pyrenees-3 years old. The out come was 50/50, the dog would have to be crated all the time for a
