Upon noticing my dog was lame in his rear leg,I took him to Dr. Kabita Deka she did a exam, put him to sleep to take 2 xrays & told me he just had some inflammation &sent him home with anti-inflammatories. He was over-anesthesized & I had to carry him to my car(50 lb dog)he did not wake up for 7 hours.I called back to explain my concern to Dr. Deka & she said that I should have agreed to the 2 addtl. blood tests she wanted to do prior to anethesia & basically offered no advice or support.I stayed up all night with him worried he was not going to live through the anethesia - he made it but his leg did not improve-I took him to another vet & immediately she noted it was his knee -& most likely an ACL tear-she called Wells Branch for their xrays and they refused to send them to her-I had to spend several hundred more dollars getting new xrays &then he had to have surgery-due to all the scar tissue- the surgery cost more & took longer.Horrible horrible place! Don't Go if you love your pet!

I took my bird to this office for a routine bird health issue. I specifically wanted an avian vet. I agreed to a $100 deposit for the initial exam & incidentals. Then they called & said that a skin culture was needed for another $150. I VERY reluctantly agreed to the add'l charges, as this is alot of money for my family. When I picked up my bird, the charges were over $600!!!! There was a $375 charge for a procedure that I DID NOT APPROVE OR CONSENT TO. I had to pay it or they would not let me take my bird home. When I complained later, they refused to refund the charges. The vet said she did not ask for my approval because she didn't want to "insult" me. Well, I consider charging me two-and-a-half times more than agreed upon to be extremely insulting! In my opinion, it is unethical. (My dog's vet always gives me a list of charges in advance & gets my approval on any changes.) And to make things worse, they did not help my bird one tiny bit! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!!!

I took my dogs there for surgery....way overpriced. They gave my dog too much anaesthesia during neutering surgery .... his heart stopped. Then they charged me for reviving him....

I would not go here. My cat was misdiagnosed, treated for over a month on the wrong meds for the wrong illness to the tune of over $800. I then took him to TX A&M and they helped me for a fraction of Wells Branch cost. I found it horrible that after spending that much money, also, that when I asked for a pill popper to help him take his pills, they charged me the $4 for it...after all the money I spent. They are very uncompassionate to the care or cost of treating your animal. My belief is the main thing they are concerned about is their bottom line. They called me & my room mate liars after we were told yes verbally for products or care we needed & they would not honor it. I have never in all of my life had to be in this much conflict with a Dr. over the care for my cat. In my opinion, this clinic is not a place for your loved pet. The entire clinic reeks of urine, and the staff has no compassion or care for you or your bank account, or in my mind, your pet.
