Do not under ANY circumstances use Wateree Animal Hospital in Elgin, SC. They have been seeing my puppy since 8 weeks old. Received a card in the mail that spaying was due. Made 2 appointments . One for required blood work before surgery, then spaying 2 weeks later.
Today the sweet puppy was urinating 6 times an hour in pea sized amounts. Very unusual behavior- moaping, sleeping, fair appetite. Took her in. They state it's a probable UTI. they can't get a urine sample, BARELY TRIED. Gave me a kit to try to collect myself. Seriously, you're the professionals, if you can't get it hiw on earth am I going to get it? Meanwhile ,my baby puppy is suffering! Then they tell me to not get her spayed until AFTER she has her 1st cycle! Which could be at 12 months of age. Whose running this place??? I remained calm, but stated I was not happy this is they're only option for today for my sick 7 month old Yorkie. Pretty substandard care in my general public view.
