Total and complete negative experience.brought my dog in, which i had just adopted from animal control, for a checkup AND she was throwing up, not eating and had diarrhea. I showed the shot records that were given to me from animal control,showing that she had JUST had a parvo shot 1/31. it was 2/3 when i broght her in. they gave her the shot AGAIN.she threw up twice in the office and someone had to clean it up. when sunday came along i took her into a different vet.low and behold she had parvo.i confrunted st. b vet and was given a "I dont recall anything out of the normal" OR us bringing the sickness up. They are awesome actors btw. same lines for the tech and VET. Thank goodness for the vet i brought her to they saved her life.my experience at st. b showed me how much they know and how much YOU as a customer have to know before coming into the vet with a sick animal. all they care about is money. worst experience i have ever had a vet. they should be ashamed.

The first negative experience was when we brought our Yorkie to this clinic. She could not use her back legs and was in a lot of pain. I thought it was her knees and mentioned this at drop off. Double knee surgery was performed by Dr. Whitford without requesting to see her records from the other connected office before surgery. When it was time to pick her up Dr. Whitford explained that the surgery may not fix it and her problem could be her back instead! I asked why they did the surgery and they said that I told them it was her knees so they went with my suggestion!The other more recent case happened to our daughter’s puppy that was rescued from Animal Control and brought in the very next day with vomiting and diarrhea. Dr. Whitley did not check for Parvo even though she vomited twice in their lobby. He gave this very sick puppy another Parvo shot on top of the one that Animal Control gave her. After a weeks stay at another veterinarian puppy is doing ok but not great.

Worst care I have every seem an animal get. My dog had surgery didnt take stitches out right. Had to go to another vet for help.

I had a rottie and now have a small shih zhu under St. Bethlehem's care. I feel extremely confident in their ability to treat my animals and my pets love this place! Heavenly Paws, located at the rear of the clinic, is also a fantastic grooming business. Best vet clinic in TN.
