Click to report rating    5/31/11   1     1     1     1   I agree that this facility is HORRIBLE!! My beloved dog died also. I didn't have the cash in hand for his "deposit" and they gave him back to me and said good luck. What I want to know is who OWNS this place. I'm calling the Vet Board this morning and placing a complaint. THEY SUCK!!!! RID: 25316
Click to report rating    2/20/11   1     1     4     1   The staff would not listen to me. They kept saying my dog had pancreatitis caused by eating something "fatty". I told them she couldn't have but they ignored. The facilities needing some washing most definitely in the exam rooms, I have no idea about the other areas. There was a vet there, but they will not look at your pet until you finish paperwork and sign an agreement that you will pay them before you leave.I paid $1200 dollars for care that would have cost less than half at my vet. I wouldn't even purchase the medicine from them it was so high, I bought it from my vet when he opened. My dog died because they did not xray her, even though I had already signed and approved the cost. They would have found that the pancreatitis they diagnosed was due to a foreign object passing through her stomach and intestines. RID: 23021
Click to report rating    2/8/11   1     1     1     1   These vets do not care for your animals - only the ridiculous amount of money they can get from 'treating' them. And don't expect good manners - they are as rude as can possibly be, with no care for your feelings or your dog's. I regret ever taking my dog there - and will never again. RID: 22691
Click to report rating    8/25/10   1     2     1     1   I received sub-par service, and feel like I was deliberately misled to believe my dog could survive surgery. The veterinary technicians never had on gloves and approached my dog like they were afraid to get their hands dirty. I thought it was very unprofessional that no one had on gloves, especially in an emergency referral clinic. Also, instead of a flat emergency fee, you will becharged an exorbitant amount for every single thing they do. You will even be charged a separate fee for the 'interpretation' of each x-ray. This place is owned by 9 local vets. Perhaps they started this place because they did not want to work nights and weekends, or maybe it was because they thought it would be a much needed/appreciated service they could offer. I would not recommend this 'service' to anyone. Instead, if the need ever arises again, I will be going to The Veterinary Regional Referral Hospital in Decatur (vrrh.org). This is a referral clinic, but they also offer 24 hour emergency care. RID: 19397

6/6/10   1     1     1     1   First of all, let me state that these people have two known addresses at the same facility. Secondly, they are murderous crooks that do not value your Pet's Life. We know, because we lost our Beloved Great Dane of 3 years old to bloat. All because they would not operate on him because we did not have $3300 to deposit and they refused to work out something to save him. The same surgery was performed for $440 for him. But because the time they took to release him back to me and their lack of action killed him. The other Vet is willing to testify to this. Thirdly, they think to hide themselves on here by using a fictitious address. I checked on this Huntsville, TN address they claim above and yes there is two Huntsville, TN. One is located in Scott County and the other is located in Loudon County. Neither one contains the Animal Emergency Clinic of North Alabama. Check a map and information and You will see I am write. Lastly, if You love You Family Pet, DON'T TAKE THEM HERE!! RID: 18275
