Though i like the doctors n they do good wrk, the staff is rude. The hospital manager is only nice to ppl she likes. Another thing i noticed is that her daughter is always there when i have an appt n is taking the attention on the staff, and keeping them from doing their job. It looks unprofessional and unsafe. I would never bring my daughter to wrk with me if i worked at an animal hospital

I have been dealing with this hospital for about 5 years and they are terrific. They have always been honest and practical with there care of our animals.

Exceptional care from a caring compassionate staff. I have been bringing my cats and dog to Edgebrook for over 7 years now and I can't say enough good things about the staff and doctors there. The staff are warm, friendly and compassionate, they really make you feel welcome when you walk in the door. I mainly see Dr. Slade and he is wonderful with all my animals and I have a couple of very difficult kitties who like to give the staff a hard time. The technicians treat my critters as if they were their own, they are all very caring and compassionate. All of my animals have had surgical procedures there and I wouldn't trust anyone but the staff at Edgebrook with my animals for surgeries. I love my critters like children and I wouldn't trust their care to anyone else.

This veterinary hospital was the third hospital I went to. My dog was very ill and no one could tell me what was wrong. The doctor I saw new exactly what tests should be run and saved my dogs life. I wouldn't go to or trust anyone else.

They do lots of unnecessary tests to run up the bill and I have found the Drs to be incompetent. Very rude staff. I brought my cat there because she was dying, and the Dr told me (after $400 worth of tests) she was fine, just keep an eye on her. Took her to another vet who said she had a mass in her abdomen that had ruptured and fluid was filling her body cavity.

Here is my nightmare...I brought my one and a half year old beautiful chocolate lab for knee surgery...It was suppose to be a simple procedure...well she died during surgery...I was told that she suffered a blood clot to the brain...so now I have no dog and I can't due anything about it because her records all show that everything was done right. Please take your dogs to a professional surgeon. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

First, the vet suggested that he give my ferret a canine vaccine instead of a ferret vaccine because they were out. Of course I said no. Then he went to "treat" my ferret of ear mites and did it completely wrong because a year later I went to an official ferret vet and he told me that the ear mites never disappeared and they needed to be treated differently. My ferret pretty much lived in discomfort for a year because of this inexperienced(with ferrets)vet. He should have told me that he doesn't know what he was doing instead of trying to scam us for our money.

I had a cat treated there for a surgery and was told that he would live at least 2 yrs and was charged $1300. The doctor himself gave me his own personal feelings and suggested the surgery. After 3 months my cat died christmas morning. I have tried numerous times to contact and left messages which were never returned. Now they want to send my bill to collections. I truly feel this hospital is only concerned about the money thats coming in and not the care of the animal that there treating. I dont feel that I got the same treatment from the staff in the end that I got in the begining. And in a situation like this I feel that shouldve been a given.
