Overpriced and horribly staffed. Dont waste your time or money going to this place.

Very Disappointing! Recently, the owner sold to a franchise and retired. They are greatly missed! Service has progressively gone down hill. I used to heartily recommend this vet. I cannot do so in good conscience anymore. With the change of staff also came "business decisions" made by present vet staff in which certain types of treatments are no longer available for present clients. Also, we keep getting mailings for pets who have died both very recently (a very sore subject) and within the last 5 years. It's very disheartening to receive "reminders" and junk mail for pets you have notified the vet office of their deceased status on more than one occasion.

I love that there are no appointments. If you don't care which vet you see, you are in & out in a hurry. If you deal with a particular doc you may have a bit of a wait, but when it's your turn you get all the time & attention you need. It's too bad they had to sell to VCA: there were some improvements in infrastructure, but the prices had to go way up (although still competitive with others) & the docs lost the freedom to do pro bono work or to cut needy people a break. All three vets are wonderful, caring & competent. They know what they can treat & what to refer. Dr. Witter & Dr. Zehmer are "Marcus Welby" types who really get to know their clients. Dr. Bugin is younger & more of a techie, so there is a nice balance. The staff are warm, friendly & very good at their work. I have used them (usually Dr. Witter) for more than 30 years & a dozen pets & have always felt I was getting his very best. Five minutes in the waiting room shows you how loyal & happy the clients are.

Can't make appointments which could work for or against you. Old fashioned vets - no fancy equipment which keeps the price down.

I have used Dr. Zehmer for my dogs for 27 years and he has been wonderful with all of them.
