With 5 pomeranians I have to go to the emergency very more often than most other people! After an emergency visit with Dr. Hanna at Pine Valley (ONLY SEE DR. EUTSY!)an unauthorized enima, he told me to put my 3 week old pom to sleep, "don't invest too many emotions." I was furious! I waited until the emergency vet opened and took her to see Dr. Bowles. After an x-ray and some rubbing we found out she was just full of air from sucking in too much while feeding! This vet is always very prompt and I am really glad we have an emergency vet in the area. I believe the other vet I have seen there is Paige, and she is so incredibly awesome :] She even helped me out with the cost once before. If I have a slight sign of a problem after normal vet hours, I will never hesitate to take my animals here.

I've used this emergency facility twice; received prompt service and the vet (Bowles) and staff were gentle with my dogs and took the time to answer my questions. Emergency visits are expensive, it seems, but I felt that I received my money's worth.

Because of the incompetence and the unprofessionalism of Dr. Bowles and the vet technicians, my kitten lost his life without need. I am filing a complaint with the North Carolina Veterinary Medical Board.

EXCELLENT VETS, EXCELLENT STAFF, EXCELLENT CARE AT THIS FACILITY. They are open 6 PM- 8 AM, so you cannot leave your animal there during the days (when they are closed). They do afterhours emergency work and a GREAT job at it. Bravo! I LOVE them. They've helped several of my animals and I am very, very happy with this facility & very glad they exist.
