I have used Portland Animal hospital for 8 yrs for both my cat and now my black lab puppy. At 5 months the puppy Tessa was accidentally hit by a friends car and I rushed her to the hospital. She needed surgery for a broken hip the next day. The best part about the hospital are the people that work there. They let me spend time with Tessa even though they were already closed and then took me to see where she would be staying and where she would have the surgery. Deneise at the desk even promised to go in and talk to Tessa the next day for me so she wouldn't feel all alone and they let her keep her favorite toy with her the whole time.
