I went to Key City Vet because I was told Dr Williams is good with cats. That is as may be, but her human interaction skills are wildly lacking.
When it was decided that my aged cat Jenny needed euthanasia, I questioned why they would take her away from me as I have been present with all my cats at their final moments. Dr Williams' demeanor immediately changed and she snapped at me: she would take Jenny away because she would be performing intracardiac injection euthanasia on her and "most people don't want to see that."
I was bewildered. It is at this moment I should have taken Jenny and gone to someone who would have shown me some compassion - ANY compassion - in a situation that was agonizing to me.
Throughout the course of what was easily the worst thing that has happened to me in recent memory, Dr Williams continued to be snide, rude, sarcastic and abrupt.
