DO NOT Go to Amarillo Veterinary Clinic
If you truly love your animals, do not take them to Amarillo Veterinary Clinic! I have a lot of respect for Dr. Love, but after HE retired, they just don't care for animals like they used to.

The absolute worst experience of my life. These incompetent jerks told me my cat needed exploratory surgery. I declined, when I picked him up from his overnight stay he was covered in urine and they had clipped his nails WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. They did an awful job and left him in pain, and at risk of infection. I decided to take him to another clinic. When I asked for his records and xrays they REFUSED. I eventually got his records, but I had to call the |Texas Veterinary Board in order to get the law that states they MUST PROVIDE COPIES OF XRAYS. When my husband went to get the xrays they CALLED THE POLICE!!!! Thank goodness the officer had some sense and took our side. We FINALLY got copies of his xrays. When we took him to the other clinc they were HORRIFIED at his treatment. Amarillo Vet Clinic didn't even do blood work on my baby before they reccomended surgery!! Turns out my cat is in perfect health!
